With the "Black Devil" cold bluing set, you can easily black or blacken ferrous surfaces (low-alloy steels, iron, cast iron) and zinc yourself. This saves a lot of time and money compared to conventional bluing or blacking methods.
The blacking concentrate can be used pure for steels with a chromium content of 3-12 %, in a dilution of 1:2 (1 part bluing agent / 2 parts water) for steels with a chromium content of up to 3 % and in a dilution of 1:3 for low-alloy steels and mild steel. Blacking with the practical 5-component set not only looks good, but also protects the material. With the "Black Devil bluing set", you can blacken both large and small spare parts using the immersion process and also renew existing blued surfaces in a targeted manner. The blackening agent is suitable for screws, small car parts, weapon accessories, decorations, tools and a wide variety of industrial and commercial workpieces (see application video).
The Black Devil bluing liquid is primarily suitable for mass-produced goods or larger parts due to its high yield - the highly concentrated "Black Magic" quick bluing solution is the right product for immovable or permanently installed components.
IMPORTANT: The Tifoo Black Devil bluing solution cannot be used for: Chrome, aluminium, titanium, tin, lead, bismuth or high-alloy steels such as stainless steel, V2A or V4A. We offer our own solutions for aluminium and V2A.
The bluing kit consists of the following components:
- Degreaser: Cleans traces of grease and degreases the object before the bluing step. This step is important for a good result.
- Conditioner: Activates the surface so that it can accept the bluing agent well in the next step.
- Bluing agent: Blackens the surface intensively and evenly. Protects the surface.
- Bluing oil: The oil is absorbed, displaces any traces of water and seals the layer created by the bluing agent against moisture. This final step protects the blacked part and intensifies the colour effect.
- Bucket: All our black devil sets are shipped with buckets. This serves as outer packaging, but can also be used for the bluing process itself.
