The Tifoo Blue patination dyes copper, brass and bronze in an antique blue colour within a few minutes. According to the treated surface and environmental conditions, the shade can vary to turquoise blue or greenish.

This gives an antique finish to e.g. bronze sculptures or copper objects. Its application is very simple:

1. The already cleaned and degreased object is painted on with a thin layer or dabbed with a piece of cloth

2. Then, the solution on the metal is dried exposed to air. A real patina will be created, the same way it happens over decades caused by weather.

Thanks to special additives keeps the patina firmly on the metal. We recommend to patinate the object made of copper, brass or bronze in a black colour before. This makes the effect of the blue patina even more realistic. On the black patinated object is then painted on with the blue patination by brush.

Perfect for all those who like to do handicrafts, create arte, restore or antique objects.

IMPORTANT: For outdoor areas, the surface should be sealed with a clear lacquer (spray).
