Anodising colour chart / Overview of the Tifoo anodising dyes
Here you can find an overview of the colour shades of our anodising dyes. The colours can vary a bit from the shown shades due to different treatment methods and mixing ratio. So consider the following shades for the different concentrations of the corresponding anodizing color only as some sort of orientation. The dyes for anodizing can be purchased here in our Tifoo anodising shop >>>
Anodising dye green - green anodised aluminium
The different shades of green are created by the use of different concentrations of the anodizing dye. When you mix about 2 grams of the green anodizing dye into 1 litre of distilled water, you will achieve the light green shade on the right, whereas the dark green shade will be obtained by adding 10 grams. Please guarantee the complete dissolution of the dye in the water (stir well; don't forget the safety goggles and gloves!!!) and the right temperature in order to achieve perfect colourations. You can purchase the "Anodising dye green" here >>>

Anodising dye blue - blue anodised aluminium
The different shades of blue extend from soft light blue by using about 1 g/litre to strong dark royal blue by using about 10 g of anodising dye: blue in 1 litre of distilled water. You find our Anodising dye blue here >>>

Anodising dye yellow - yellow anodised aluminium
Keep in mind that the yellow anodising dye by Tifoo causes an orange shade instead of a yellow one if it is added in higher concentrations (from about 5 grams per litre of water). For strong yellow shades, better use the concentration range of 1 to 3 grams per litre of distilled water. A particularly strong yellow is achieved by 2g / litre. The anodising dye yellow can be purchased here >>>

Anodising dye orange - orange anodised aluminium
The orange anodizing dye however creates a yellowish colour when only low concentrations (0.5 to 1 gram per litre of water) are used, but turns into a strong orange with higher concentrations. So if you want to achieve a strong orange colour, we recommend using more than 5 grams anodising dye per litre of water. Purchase the anodising dye orange here >>>

Anodising dye red - red anodised aluminium
The red anodising dye allows you to anodise your aluminum in a deep red by using the highest concentration. When adding less than 3 g / litre, the colouration will turn into a light orange-red. Purchase the anodising dye red here >>>

Anodising dye purple - purple anodised aluminium
The different shades of purple are particularly intense in a rather low concentration range (up to 3 g per litre) - higher concentrations create an almost black shade. Purchase the anodising dye purple here >>>

Anodising dye black - black anodised aluminium
The black anodising dye allows you to dye aluminum in a deep black colour. Even low concentrations of 2 g / litre already create dark shades that when adding 10 grams per litre of water turn into an intense black. You can purchase the Tifoo anodising dye black here >>>
