The Tifoo Chrome Remover allows you to remove chrome in a quick and reliable way. But why should you remove chrome? The answer is very simple. Chromed components are normally covered by an oxide layer, which avoids electroplating. When removing chrome, you remove the chrome so that the layer underneath will be available for electroplating. After removing the chrome, you’ll be able to, for example, gild yourself until then chromed rims or car / motorcycle components. The first step to make your vehicle shine.

The Tifoo Chrome Remover allows you to remove chrome from:

• fittings
• rims
• exhaust pipes

In general, there is a nickel layer underneath the chrome layer that has to be activated with the included activator before further plating.
